Farrier Wages – will anyone share?

Question by : Farrier Wages – will anyone share?
My son was injured in an auto accident in Ontario (not his fault) He has worked on some really good standardbreds including for example 2 winners of the “Little Brown Jug”, and some others of that calibre – to give you an idea, he has shoed “Amigo Hall”, “Royal Majesty”, “Glidemaster (Walnridge Farm in Pennsylvania)”,”Mach Three”, “Ambro Deuce”, “Dr.No”, “Tell All” and ” Million Dollar Cam” .

Is there anyone who would be willing to share a range of income? He used to do 6 horses a day and is now only able to do 2. There is NOT MUCH information on the wages of a good farrier and he needs to prove to the insurance company what this skill is worth. My email mike@ogradyinsure.com

Thanks!
